LINKING POLICY

The National Shooting Sports Foundation, Inc. (“NSSF”), the US Sportsmen’s Alliance  (“USSA”) and the National Wild Turkey Federation (“NWTF”) welcome links to the Families AfieldSM web site.

If you want to link to the Families Afield web site, you may do so, provided you agree to the Linking Policy below.  By creating a link to the Families Afield web site, you agree to be bound by this Linking Policy.  If you do not agree to this Linking Policy, you shall not be authorized to link to the Families Afield web site.

By creating a link to the Families Afield web site, all users agree to the following linking terms and conditions.

  1. Users are granted non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited permission to use the Families AfieldSM trademark, logo, domain name or graphic banner (collectively, “Marks”) for the sole purpose of serving as a direct link from your web site to the Families Afield web site.

    All users agree not to alter or modify the Families Afield Marks.  No other use of the Marks is authorized, and under no circumstances are you permitted to establish any links intended to disguise the Families Afield web site URL or by-pass the Families Afield homepage.

  1. Users acknowledge that all rights to the Families Afield Marks, any content appearing on the Families Afield web site and the design and trade dress of the Families Afield site belong to or is licensed by the NSSF, the USSA and/or the NWTF.  At no time shall users directly or indirectly contest or infringe upon these rights.

  2. If a user links to the Families Afield web site, their web site:

  • Shall not create frames around the Families Afield web site or use other techniques that alter, distort or obscure the visual presentation of the Families Afield web site.

  • Shall not express or imply that the NSSF, the USSA, the NWTF, and/or any of their respective affiliate organizations endorse the user or the user’s products or services, or any opinions or materials contained on a user’s web site.

  • Shall not express or imply any affiliation between the user and the NSSF, the USSA, and/or the NWTF, or any of their respective affiliate organizations (unless the user is a member in good standing with these organizations).

  • Shall not misrepresent the user’s relationship with the NSSF, the USSA, and the NWTF or present false or misleading impressions about these entities.

  • Shall not contain materials that may be unlawful or interpreted as distasteful or offensive or adversely affect the name, reputation and goodwill of the NSSF, the USSA, and/or the NWTF. 

  1. Neither the NSSF, the USSA, the NWTF nor any of their respective affiliate organizations shall have any responsibility or liability for any content appearing on a user’s web site or for the content of other web sites to which a user’s site may be linked.  Each user agrees to defend, indemnify and hold the NSSF, the USSA, the NWTF, their affiliates, and each of their respective current and former directors, officers, employees, agents and volunteers harmless from and against any damages, demands, claims, suits, actions, liabilities, judgments, settlement amounts and liabilities (including reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs and other enforcement expenses) that may arise out of or result from the user’s use of the Marks.

  2. The NSSF, the USSA, and/or the NWTF may cancel a user’s authority to use the Marks and terminate the link to the Families Afield Web site at any time and for any reason.  If all or any one of them exercises this right, the user shall immediately terminate all links to the Families Afield web site and cease using the Marks. 

  3. Users agree that, in addition to any other rights and remedies which the NSSF, the USSA, and the NWTF may have at law or in equity (including the right to monetary damages), they shall be entitled to seek a temporary restraining order, injunction or other equitable relief in the event of, or to prevent, a breach of this Linking Policy.  In addition, they shall be entitled to reimbursement of its attorney’s fees, court costs and other enforcement expenses. 

  4. The NSSF, the USSA, and/or the NWTF may at any time revise this Linking Policy. Users agree to be bound by any such revisions and should, therefore, periodically visit this page to review the then-current Linking Policy to which you are bound.
